For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the feeling of stepping into an old library — that hush of paper and dust, the soft glow of lamplight, the quiet knowledge that every book on the shelf has a life of its own. I wanted to recreate that atmosphere with Stuff Celine Reads : a small, private reading circle built around slower reading, deeper thinking, and the pleasure of truly living with a book, not just finishing one.

This book club is intentionally paced. We read fewer books, but we read them more meaningfully — often lingering over passages, sharing thoughts, comparing editions, exploring themes, and filling the margins with gentle annotations. Instead of rushing to keep up with a schedule, we move through a story the way one wanders through a library aisle : curiously, thoughtfully, and with room to breathe.

I wanted this space to feel exactly like that — as if you’ve entered a quiet chamber of worn leather chairs, heavy wooden shelves, and manuscripts scattered with bookmarks and penciled thoughts. A place where reading feels intentional again.

Two Tiers : The Public Library & The Secret Library

To keep things welcoming but still intimate, the club has two tiers, each with its own role in this little private library.

The Public Library 🕯️

This tier is open and cozy, like the main hall of any beloved library.

This is the quiet, tucked-away room behind the shelves — a more intimate and in-depth experience for readers who want to immerse themselves fully.
